MONMOUTH, Ill. - Ripon allowed two goals in each half against Monmouth on Sunday, losing to the Fighting Scots, 4-0. The Red Hawks were outshot in the game, 25-8, including 12-3 in the second half.

The scoring started in the 26th minute when Monmouth's Allie DeArvil scored her third goal of the season. Four minutes later, the Fighting Scots (5-2, 2-0 MWC) scored again when Lauren Kellen found the net off an assist by Mikaela Rogers.

Kellen added a second goal just one and a half minutes into the second half, giving her 12 goals on the season, scoring on a redirect from an assist by Kelsi Smith. Monmouth added their fourth goal in the 87th minute on Unique Manns' second goal of the year.

Sidney Blodgett played all 90 minutes in goal for the Red Hawks (4-4, 1-1 MWC), saving 12 shots. Monmouth's Samantha Barranco added two saves on the day, as she also played the entire game between the posts.
