FOND Du LAC, Wis. - Ripon fell to 0-2 on the young season Saturday afternoon, losing 9-0 to the University of Dubuque. The Red Hawks lost all six singles matches in straight sets, while dropping their three doubles matches by a combined score of 25-8.

In singles play, freshman Courtney Olson played the most competitive match for Ripon, losing 5-7, 2-6 at the number three flight. Madeleine Salzer was the only other Red Hawk to score any points in singles play, losing 1-6, 2-6 at the second flight.

Salzer also teamed with Lucero Pena for the team's most competitive doubles match, losing in the second flight by a score of 7-9.

The Red Hawks will try to break into the win column on Friday at Mount Mary University. That match will begin at 4 p.m. in Milwaukee, Wis.
