APPLETON, Wis. - Ripon traveled to Lawrence Wednesday night, where they lost 2-0 under the lights. The Vikings also out-shot the Red Hawks by a 16-7 margin.
Jack Blodgett accounted for all the scoring in the game. He gave Lawrence (3-12-1, 2-6-0 MWC) the lead in the 13th minute on assists from John Tsingas and Robert Desotelle. That would be all the scoring until the second half when Blodgett scored the second and final goal of the game in the 79th minute, thanks to assists from Ryan Leonard and Sean Salansky.
Jimmy Amedeo played the entire game in the net for the Red Hawks (6-8-1, 1-6-0 MWC), making four saves on the night. His counterpart, Joe Krivit, also played all 90 minutes, recording two saves, en route to the shutout.
Ripon will be in action again this weekend when they'll travel to Carroll University on Saturday. That game will begin at 7:30 p.m. in Waukesha, Wis.
