GRINNELL, Iowa - Ripon's women's tennis team lost to Grinnell College Saturday afternoon by a score of 8-1. The Red Hawks lost all six singles matches, while winning one of their three doubles matches.

The Red Hawks' only team point came at the number one doubles flight where Maddie VandenHouten and Courtney Olsen teamed up to win 9-7. In singles play, VandenHouten put up a fight before losing her top flight match, 6-7, 1-6.

Ripon (3-9, 0-6 MWC) will be in action again on Sunday at Cornell College. That match will begin at 9:30 a.m. in Mount Vernon, Iowa.
