Ripon Falls To St. Norbert

DE PERE, Wis. - Ripon allowed two goals in each half Saturday afternoon, losing to St. Norbert College by a score of 4-1. The Red Hawks were also out-shot by a 21-6 margin.

The first 24 minutes of the match were scoreless until Ben Prange notched his ninth goal of the season, finding the lower left corner of the net. Two minutes later, Griffin Hoerchner scored for the third time this year, with the assist going to Prange.

The Green Knights (9-2, 4-0 MWC) added to their lead in the second half when Anthony Masello netted his second goal of the year on an assist from Ian Lofdahl. Deshaun Dickson also scored for St. Norbert, from 30 yards out, thanks to an assist from Drew Checolinski. Ripon's lone goal came from Cameron Greene on a direct kick in the 83rd minute, his third goal of the season.

Goal Keeper Brady Stockwell saved six shots in his 90 minutes for the Red Hawks (3-6, 0-3 MWC). St. Norbert's Josh Koleske, Sam Lisheron, and Tristan Bosch combined for one save on the day.

Ripon will be in action again on Tuesday when they'll host Beloit College. That game will begin at 4:15 p.m. at Prairie Field in Ripon.
