CHICAGO, Ill. - In what was their first game in a week, the Ripon College men's soccer team lost to Illinois Tech Wednesday night, 2-0. Illinois Tech also held the advantage in shots (27-9) and corner kicks (5-1).
After the first 27 minutes were scoreless, Illinois Tech's Santiago Bartolome broke the tie thanks to an assist from Mazen Al Hourani. Hourani also assisted on the other goal of the game, which came off the foot of Noah Griffith in the 54th minute.
Jimmy Amedeo played the entire game at Goal Keeper for the Red Hawks (2-3), making 11 saves. His counterpart, Anastasios Manolis also played all 90 minutes, saving six shots for Illinois Tech (1-4).
