RIPON, Wis. - The Ripon Red Hawks lost to the Illinois Tech Scarlet Hawks Sunday afternoon by a score of 2-0. Ripon was also out-shot by an 18-5 margin, including 11-2 in the first half.
The game's first goal came in the 40th minute when Michael Podsiadly scored his first goal of the season, giving Illinois Tech the lead. Noah Kwortnik scored the only other goal of the game, scoring his third of the season in the 70th minute.

Thomas Reed combined for 15 saves, with each playing a half. Illinois Tech Goal Keeper Anastasios Manolis played all 90 minutes, making five saves.
The Red Hawks will be in action again on Saturday when they'll travel to Beloit College. That game will begin at 1 p.m. in Beloit, Wis.
