Ripon split a pair of matches on Saturday, defeating Beloit 5-4, before losing to Lake Forest in the nightcap by a score of 9-0.

Against Beloit (0-9, 0-4 MWC), the Red Hawks (3-7, 1-5 MWC) saw a lot of success in singles play, winning four of their six matches. Courtney Olson won her match at the top flight by a score of 6-1, 6-0, while Carly Wesner won her number four singles match by a score of 6-2, 6-4. Rachel Hicks and Katelyn Peroutka were also victorious at the number five and six flights, respectively, by scores of 6-3, 6-1 and 6-2, 6-0. In doubles competition, Olson teamed up with Morgan Makar to win at the top flight by a score of 8-2.

After the victory, Ripon hit the road again, traveling to Lake Forest. The Foresters were ready, winning by a score of 9-0. Ripon lost all six singles matches in two sets, while losing all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-2.

Ripon will be in action again on Friday when they'll host MSOE at 4:30 p.m. That match will be played at Larson Courts in Ripon.
