Box Score vs. Southwest Minnesota State

MENOMONIE, Wis. - The Ripon College women's tennis team traveled to UW-Stout on Sunday to take part in two matches, falling to UW-Stout by a score of 7-2, before losing to Southwest Minnesota State 9-0.

Against UW-Stout, Ripon won one match in both singles and doubles play. In singles competition, MacKenzie Warner was victorious at the third flight, 6-2, 6-3. In doubles play, Warner teamed up with fellow freshman Rachel Hicks to win at the number three flight, 8-5.

In the second match of the day, Ripon lost all six singles matches by forfeit. They also lost all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-5.

The Red Hawks will be in action again on Tuesday when they'll host St. Norbert College. That match will begin at 4 p.m. at Larson Courts in Ripon.
