MADISON, Wis. - On the first day of teh 2018 Midwest Conference Women's Tennis Championships, Ripon placed two teams in the consolation finals.

At the number one flight, Hannah Ryback and Brianna Bembenek teamed up to win their consolation semi-finals match 8-1, before moving on to the consolation finals where they were victorious 8-3. At the number three flight, Ripon's team of MacKenzie Warner and Carly Wesner lost in the consolation finals, after winning 8-2 in the consolation semifinals.

Ripon will be in action again Sunday as their season will come to an end on the second and final day of the 2018 MWC Championships, with the MWC Singles Tournament.
