DE PERE, Wis. - Ripon's women's tennis team lost their first match in two weeks Saturday morning, as their 8-1 loss at St. Norbert snapped a five-match win streak for the Red Hawks. St. Norbert won all three doubles matches, while also taking five of the six singles matches.

Ripon's only team point came at the number two singles flight, which saw Hannah Ryback win 6-2, 7-5. Two of the five other singles matches went to a third set or tiebreaker.

The Red Hawks (7-3, 4-3 MWC) now sit one match out of the fourth and final spot for a berth to the Midwest Conference Team Tournament with two matches to play. They will try to start a new winning streak on October 7 when they'll play Beloit and Lake Forest College at 9 a.m. and Noon, respectively. Both of those matches will take place at Larson Courts in Ripon.
