COLUMBIA, Ky. - The Red Hawks competed at Lindsey Wilson College over the weekend in a dual meet between the Southeastern Collegiate Cycling Conference (SECCC) and the Midwest Collegiate Cycling Conference (MWCCC), while also acting as the SECCC championship race weekend. The fields were large, competitive, and gave the Red Hawks a good warmup for Nationals, which will be held next week in Big Bear Lake, Calif.

"Despite the 95-degree heat and fierce competition during both days of racing, the team performed great," Ripon Head Coach
Alec Hoover said. "Noah won the first cross country race of his cycling career, Nick had a phenomenal performance in the dual slalom, given his limited experience in the discipline, and Nick and Elliott both proved they were capable of hanging in a National caliber men's A field."
The Red Hawks will be in competition again this weekend in St. Charles, Missouri for the MWCCCÂ championship, before traveling to Big Bear Lake, Calif. for Collegiate Mountain Bike Nationals on October 11-13.
