RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's 2019 season drew to a close Saturday with a 3-0 loss in their season finale. The Fighting Scots also held a 20-9 shot advantage in the game.

Monmouth (9-6-2, 4-3-2 MWC) scored the game's first goal just before halftime when Alvaro Alvarez scored his 10th goal of the season with 39 seconds left in the first half. The Fighting Scots added another goal in the 55th minute when Nicolas Esparon notched his fifth goal of the year. They would add an insurance goal in the 71st minute when Du Thang scored on a pss from Reid Sondgeroth.

Kenny Smith played the entire game at Goal Keeper for the Red Hawks (1-16-1, 0-9-0 MWC), making eight saves. Monmouth recorded five saves on the day, as Marcos Garibay and Kieren Marshall each played 45 minutes.
