Two weeks after winning the Midwest Conference Track Performer of the Week Award, junior
Callista DeCramer has been named MWC Field Performer of the Week, as released Tuesday by the conference office.
A Physical Education major from Princeton, Wis., DeCramer continued the strong start to her season at Saturday's Red Hawk Invite, winning two events on the day, while also eclipsing the previous school record in the Triple Jump by 10 inches. Her first victory on the day came in the 60m Hurdles where she ran 9.36 seconds to remain undefeated in the event this season. Her biggest performance came later in the Triple Jump, where all six of her jumps were further than the previous school record. She saved her best for last as she leapt out to 37-09.5, which is the farthest in the Midwest Conference this season, and is 10th in NCAA Division-III.
