Illinois College Edges Red Hawks

RIPON, Wis. - Illinois College defeated Ripon's men's soccer team 2-1 Saturday afternoon in what was the 2021 season finale for both teams.

Illinois College started the scoring in the 36th minute when Jack Hart found the back of the net. Thomas Menke doubled that lead in the 59th minute with a much-needed insurance goal. Ripon's only goal came on an own goal with just one minute left in regulation.

Ripon Goal Keeper Kalen Narance played all 90 minutes, making seven saves. Owen Macias also played all 90 minutes between the pipes for Illinois College, saving four shots.
