RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's women's soccer team completed their 2021 season Saturday afternoon with a 4-1 loss to Illinois College. The Lady Blues also out-shot Illinois College by a 21-5 margin.
Illinois College (6-10-1, 5-2-1 MWC) wasted no time getting on the board, scoring in the game's third minute on a goal by Ashley Brokaw. Less than a minute later, Ripon tied things up when
Mandy Barlow scored her first career goal on an assist from
McKenzie Wiesner.
The score remained tied at halftime, but Illinois College would take the lead back in the second half when Jordan Morgan scored in the 56th minute. Haley Sommer would add a pair of goals later in the half to cap the scoring.
Andreanna Wilke played all 90 minutes at Goal Keeper for the Red Hawks, making 13 saves. Her counterpart, Cassidy Tacker, also played the entire game, recording three saves.
