CHICAGO - Ripon's women's soccer team suffered a 15-0 loss at the hands of Illinois Tech Saturday afternoon. Illinois Tech scored seven goals in the first half and eight in the second, while out-shooting Ripon 57-1 in the contest.
Lucy Vanveldhuisen broke a scoreless tie in the 11th minute with her second goal of the season. She would add three more goals by herself in the next 14 minutes, while Anna Delseith, Lisa Rios, and Ally Sanchez also notched first half goals.
In the second period, Shayna Casupang added to that lead with a goal in the 48th minute, before Genna Gaitan and Savanna Gonzalez each added goals in the next six minutes. Rios, Ashley Dame and Amerlia Moseman each scored one goal in the second half, while Julia Taliana scored twice after halftime.
