EAU CLAIRE, Wis. - UW-Eau Claire used three first half goals to propel them to a 4-0 win against Ripon on Wednesday. The Blugolds also out-shot the Red Hawks by a 25-1 margin.
UW-Eau Claire (6-2-0) wasted little time breaking the scoreless tie on a Carter Theisfeld goal in the sixth minute. Nathan Donovan and Evan Wilson each added a first half goal, before Donovan capped the scoring with his 11th goal of the season in the opening minute of the second period.
Ripon Goal Keeper
Warren Januszkiewicz played all 90 minutes in goal for the Red Hawks (2-6-1), making 11 saves. UW-Eau Claire's Spencer Banks saved one shot for the Blugolds.
