RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's women's soccer team lost to Lake Forest Tuesday afternoon by a 5-0 score. The Red Hawks were also out-shot 35-2.
Lake Forest (5-4-1, 2-0-0 MWC) started the scoring nine and a half minutes into the contest when Julia Larson scored on assists from Kate Giere and Alyssa Xanos. Ella Manthey then addded a pair of first half goals to give LFC a 3-0 halftime lead.
The Foresters would add to their lead in the 74th minute when Giere scored on a header thanks to an assist from Madeline Moser. Frannie Paldi capped the scoring with a goal in the final minutes.
Andreanna Wilke played all 90 minutes at Goal Keeper for Ripon (0-8-1, 0-2-0 MWC), making 18 saves, which is the fourth-most in a single game in program history.
