The Ripon Women's Track and Field Team won their first Midwest Conference Outdoor Track and Field Championship Saturday afternoon, pulling away with 180 team points.

The Ripon coaches were named Coaching Staff of the Year after the meet as well.

The Red Hawks, leading after Day 1 of the competition, quickly added to their total with first and third-place finishes by
Mikayla Flyte and
Natalie Pakosz, respectively, in the 3000m Steeplechase.

Flyte also finished second in the 5000m Run and was followed closely by Ali Denamur, who finished third in the event.

Olivia Miller finished second in the 100m Hurdles, then teamed up with
Grace Engebretson,
Jenny Cortes, and
Payton Rahn to take third in the 4x400m Relay.

Engebretson finished third in the 800m Run and
Bridget Finn secured Ripon's final podium of the day with a second-place finish in the 400m Hurdles.

The Red Hawks will celebrate the monumental result, but next up for Ripon is NCAA Final Qualifier which begins on May 18th.
