Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 INDIANOLA/DUBUQUE, Iowa – The Ripon women's tennis program fell 5-2 at Simpson and 7-0 at Loras on Saturday to round out its weekend slate in Iowa.
 
In the opener, Ripon (0-3) wasted little time putting a point on the board. Hadley Berendsen and Chase Polyak made quick work of their opponents on court two, breezing to a 6-0 win. Minutes later, Josie Rondestvedt and Tia Endrizzi teamed up for a 6-4 win on the top court to clinch the doubles point. Simpson (1-0) won court three 6-4, but Ripon still headed into singles play with an important 1-0 advantage.
 
Ripon won four of six first sets in singles play, but the Storm came charging back to claim a trio of third-set victories. Though Isabella Engstrom won 7-5, 6-4 on the sixth line for her second consecutive win, the hosts took courts one, two, three, four and five to claim the victory.
 
In the nightcap, Loras (1-0) took all three doubles courts to take an early 1-0 lead. In singles, the Duhawks grabbed victories on courts five and two before clinching the match with a court one win.
 
After Loras won court three, the Duhawks earned a come-from-behind, three-set victory on court four before winning court six in straight sets.

NEXT UP: Ripon visits UW-Oshkosh on Saturday, September 7 for a non-conference match beginning at 9 a.m. At 3 p.m. that day from Oshkosh, the Red Hawks will challenge UW-La Crosse in a neutral-site contest.
