RIPON, Wisconsin – After another record-breaking heptathlon performance, 
Bridget Finn of the Ripon women's track and field program has been named Midwest Conference Outdoor Field Performer of the Week as announced by the league on Tuesday afternoon.
 
Finn smashed her own school record in the heptathlon, totaling 4,495 points to win the event at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Invitational last weekend. Standing second in Division III in the heptathlon this season, she nearly cracked the top-25 all-time in Division III heptathlon scores with her performance on Friday and Saturday.
 
This is the first career weekly outdoor honor for Finn, and the third outdoor honor for Ripon this season.

Jenny Cortes were both recognized on April 1.
 
Ripon competes at Lawrence on Wednesday, April 16 in the Viking Twilight and at UW-La Crosse on Thursday, April 17 at the Phil Esten Challenge.
