AUGUSTANA, Ill. -- The Ripon College women's soccer team fell 1-0 on the road Tuesday evening against Augustana College (IL) in a tightly contested defensive matchup.
The Red Hawks held strong defensively throughout the first half, with senior goalkeeper

Offensively, the Red Hawks tallied seven total shots, with four on target. Freshman
Cecilia Strom (Ripon, Wis., Ripon HS) led the way with two shots, including one on goal, while sophomore
Addison Misner (Richland, Mich., Gull Lake HS), freshman
Hailie Trochinski (Oshkosh, Wis., Oshkosh North HS), and senior

(Green Bay, Wis., Green Bay Southwest HS) and freshman
Megan Chorley (Oshkosh, Wis., Oshkosh North HS) added one shot apiece to round out Ripon's offensive attemps.
The game's only goal came late in the second half when Augustana scoring late, putting Ripon down 1-0 with limited time to respond. Despite a late push, the Red Hawks could not find the back of the net, falling in a close road contest.
