GRINNELL, Ia. -- 263 Ripon student athletes have been named to the Midwest Conference's Academic All-Conference list following the 2025-26 school year, as announced by the MWC this Wednesday, July 15. Out of twelve schools (including three affiliates), Ripon has the second most athletes named to the list, with Grinnell College leading all programs.
To earn Academic All-Conference honors, student-athletes must have achieved a minimum 3.33 grade-point average for the academic year, earned a varsity letter in one of the league's 18 sponsored sports, and competed on a team that completed at least 50 percent of its scheduled contests. Honorees are named each year following the posting of spring term grades.
The awards come after a banner academic year for Ripon athletics, with four Red Hawks awarded the MWC's Elite 20 award for holding the highest GPA in their respective sports while competing in their postseason tournament or championships. Last year, Ripon tied for fourth on the Academic All-Conference list with 183 athletes earning the distinction, and netted one Elite 20 award.
Ripon placed highly compared to all schools across sports and led the MWC in one sport, men's soccer, placing 22 players from the program on the list. For the full list of athletes and the conference release,
