Colleen Byron serves as the Faculty Athletic Representative for Ripon College.
A professor of Chemistry at Ripon, Byron earned her B.A. in Chemistry from the College of St. Benedict in St. Joseph, Minn. She went on to receive her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry from the University of Minnesota.
Byron has received many awards and honors during her career including the James R. Underkofler Excellence in Teaching Award (2011), Ripon College's Senior Awards (1995 and 2004), the May Bumby Severy Teaching Award (1995 and 2002), the Merck/AAAS Undergraduate Science Program Grant (2002) and the National Science Foundation CAREER Program Grant (1995).
