Barnes got off to a hot start to the season last week, batting .400 during Ripon's Spring Trip to Central Florida. He finished with three doubles, three triples, and four RBI for a team-best slugging percentage of .625, while also scoring six runs. He recorded at least one hit in all nine of Ripon's games, while recording more than one hit in six games, including four in a row to end the trip.
