Competing at Thursday's Carroll Invite, Fuhrmann opened Ripon's outdoor season in style, winning the 400 meters with a lifetime PR of 49.15 seconds, which is tops in the conference this season. He also finished fourth in the 200m (third in the MWC this season), while running a leg on Ripon's first-place 4x400 relay, which boasts the top time in the MWC this year.
