Potter turned in a lifetime best 8k performance at Saturday's Gene Davis Invitational, hosted by Lawrence. He dropped 41 seconds off of his previous best, with a time of 26:39.9. That placed him as the third collegiate runner overall and moved him into 17th all-time in school history.
