DePERE, Wis. - Ripon's season-long three game winning streak came to an end Tuesday night, as 12th-ranked St. Norbert College handed the Red Hawks a 102-62 defeat, which also snapped a four-game winning streak in Midwest Conference games. SNC led for all but the first two minutes, as the Green Knights shot 66 percent (42-64) from the field and 53 percent (10-19) from 3-point range.
The Red Hawks (8-5, 5-3 MWC) scored the game's first points on a 3-pointer by
Kyle Loughrin, but that would be the high-point of the night for the team, as St. Norbert (12-1, 8-0 MWC) responded with a 39-7 run over the next 12 minutes. The run was keyed Kam Cerroni, who scored 18 points on six 3-pointers in the half. Ripon shot just 28 percent (7-25) in the period, as they trailed 52-23 at the half.
Ripon shot better in the second half, converting 48 percent (14-29) of their shots from the field, but that could not get them back in the ball game. St. Norbert's largest lead came on the game's final points, a pair of Nick Hofman free throws.
Ty Sabin led the Red Hawks with 17 points, while Loughrin added 15.

Ty Ketz each added seven. Ripon turned the ball over 15 times in the game, which resulted in 23 St. Norbert points.
Cerroni finished with a game-high 22 points, while Andrew Schwoerer and Steven Hofacker added 20 and 12 points, respectively, off the bench. Andy Fox didn't score, but recorded a game-high eight of SNC's 33 assists.
