FOND Du LAC, Wis. - Grinnell defeated Ripon Saturday afternoon by a score of 9-0. The Pioneers won all six singles matches, including one by forfeit, while also winning all three doubles matches.

Ripon's most competitive match of the day came at number one singles, where Madeline VandenHouten lost 2-6, 0-6. In doubles play, VandenHouten teamed up with Madeleine Salzer at the top flight to lose, 8-2.

The Red Hawks (0-10, 0-5 MWC) will now get ready to battle Cornell College on Sunday. That match will begin at 9 a.m. and is tentatively scheduled to be played at Larson Courts in Ripon.
