VERONA, Wis. - The Red Hawks managed just three shots Thursday night, while allowing 21, in a 2-1 loss to Edgewood College.

The Eagles (1-3) started the scoring with a goal by Alexander Ribeiro in the 19th minute thanks to an assist by Xander Bebber. That's how the score would stay until the 71st minute when Perry Poulos tied things up with his first goal of the season on an assist by Josh Luna. Seven minutes later, Edgewood answered with another goal, scored by Kelmend Isaj, to take the lead for good.

Ripon Goal Keeper Cody Messerschmidt recorded five saves in his 90 minutes of action.

The Red Hawks (1-3-1) will be in action again on Sunday when they'll host Wisconsin Lutheran College at 1 p.m.
