The Red Hawks couldn't muster much offense Sunday afternoon, as they lost to Wisconsin Lutheran 2-0 in a game that they were also outshot 25-6. That also includes being outshot 15-1 in the second half, which is when WLC scored both of their goals after the two teams played to a tie at halftime.

Wisconsin Lutheran's first goal came in the 79th minute on Nate Wasser's sixth of the season. The Warriors (5-2-0) added an insurance goal with under four minutes remaining in regulation off the foot of Austin Drake, his fourth of the season.

Ripon Goal Keeper Cody Messerschmidt made 10 saves on the day, while playing all 90 minutes. His counterpart, Cedric Guichard saved two shots in his 90 minutes of action.

The Red Hawks (1-4-1) will be in action again on Wednesday when they'll travel to Rockford University. That game will begin at 4 p.m. in Rockford, Ill.
