APPLETON, Wis. - The Ripon women's tennis team lost to Lawrence Unviersity Wednesday afternoon, 9-0. Ripon lost all six singles matches, while losing the three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-0.

In singles play, Maddie VandenHouten and Courtney Olson were each competitive at the number one and three flights, before ultimately losing their respective match in two sets. VandenHouten dropped her match by a score of 3-6, 3-6, while Olson lost her match 1-6, 5-7.

The Red Hawks (0-7, 0-4 MWC) will be in action again Saturday against MSOE. That match will begin at 10 a.m. at Larson Courts in Ripon.
