RIPON, Wis. - On a day where Ripon's men's soccer team honored its 1999 Midwest Conference Championship team, the Red Hawks lost to Carroll by a score of 3-0 on Saturday. The Pioneers also outshot the Red Hawks 20-2.

Carroll's first goal of the game came in the 18th minute as Caden Pruitt did the honors with his second goal of the season. That would be the only goal of the first half, but Carroll's Colton Woyak and Tim Antoniewicz each added their second goals of the year in the second period.

Cody Messerschmidt played the entire game in goal for Ripon (2-7-1, 0-3-0 MWC), making 14 saves. His counterpart, Nick Drew, also played the entire game for Carroll (4-4-1, 2-0-0 MWC), recording two saves.

The Red Hawks will try to turn things around on Tuesday against Lawrence University. That game is scheduled for 4 p.m. at Prairie Field in Ripon.
