RIPON, Wis. - The Ripon men's soccer team proved they were able to go toe-to-toe with one of the Midwest Conference's best teams Tuesday afternoon, losing to St. Norbert 1-0. Despite being out-shot 25-3, the Red Hawks held firm thanks to Goal Keeper Jimmy Amedeo's outstanding performance that included a season-high 16 saves.

The game's only goal came in the second half, as Tyler Kassube scored on a Penalty Kick, just minutes after he missed a PK wide left. That was Kassube's eighth goal of the season for the Green Knights (10-5-2, 7-1-1 MWC).

Ripon (6-10-1, 1-8-0 MWC) will wrap up their season on Saturday when they'll host Illinois College. That game will begin at 1:30 p.m. at Prairie Field in Ripon and will be Senior Day for the Red Hawks, honoring Will Crist, Josh Luna, and Perry Poulos.
