MONMOUTH, Ill. - Ripon's men's soccer team lost at Monmouth Sunday afternoon by a score of 2-0. Monmouth also outshot Ripon by a 12-4 advantage, including 6-0 in the first half.
The Fighting Scots (4-7-0, 2-2-0 MWC) scored the game's first goal in the 10th minute when Max Daniels found the net on an assist from Connor Oltman. They would double their lead 15 minutes later on a Luke Vandenberg goal from Zeb Soignier to cap the scoring.
Ripon Goal Keeper
Jimmy Amedeo played all 90 minutes, making five saves, while his counterpart, Chase Stroud, also played the entire game, recording one save.
The Red Hawks (3-5-1, 0-5-0 MWC) will be in action again on Thursday when they'll host Eureka College. That game will begin at 4 p.m. on Prairie Field in Ripon.
