RIPON, Wis. - Four games into the 2015 season, the Ripon men's soccer team already has more wins than they had all of last year. The Red Hawks defeated Silver Lake College 6-1 on Tuesday to remain unbeaten and improve their season record to 3-0-1.
The Red Hawks got on the board first in the 19th minute when freshman
Logan Wright netted his first career goal.
Cameron Greene doubled Ripon's lead in the 32nd minute when he scored his second goal of the season on assists from
Grant Grywalsky and
Gary Sexson.
After halftime, Ripon continued to find the back of the net, as
Brenden Raasch scored his fourth goal of the season in the 54th minute on a one-on-one opportunity.
Domenic LaVitola added his first of the season just one minute later, before
Paul Karls scored on a header off a corner kick from Greene to give Ripon a 5-0 lead. The Red Hawks saved possibly their most impressive goal for last however, as Wright scored for a second time in the 66th minute, putting one over the Goal Keepers head from about 45 yards away.

James Saager played the entire game, making six saves and allowing just one goal. His counterpart, Luka Jovicic also played all 90 minutes, saving nine shots.
The Red Hawks will try to keep their unbeaten streak alive on Saturday when they'll host Lake Forest College in their first conference game of the season. That game will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Ripon and can be seen live at,,
