RIPON, Wis. - Playing their second conference game in as many days, the Ripon College men's soccer team lost to Beloit College Sunday afternoon, 2-0, despite owning a 16-9 shot advantage.
Beloit (2-5-1, 1-1-0 MWC) made the most of their opportunities, scoring the game's first goal in the 39th minute off the foot of Rikley Buckingham, who was assisted by Isaiah Turner-Wyatt. Turner-Wyatt also assisted on the game's only other goal, as Beloit put their second on the board in the 74th minute on Jose Gutierrez's first of the season.

Jimmy Amedeo played all 90 minutes, saving two shots, while Beloit's Jere Bauer also played the entire game, making eight saves.
The Red Hawks (3-2-1, 0-2-0 MWC) will try to turn things around on Saturday when they'll travel to Grinnell College. That game will begin at 1:30 p.m. in Grinnell, Iowa.
