WAUPUN, Wis. - The Ripon men's soccer team lost their fifth consecutive game Friday night, falling to Dordt College, 4-0. Dordt scored two goals in each half, while out-shooting the Red Hawks by a 17-7 margin.
Dordt (5-7) got on the board in the 25th minute when Alex Durbin scored for the 17th time this season, with an assist from Cody Van Holland. Durbin added his second goal of the game in the 40th minute on an assist from Billy Dedich.
Braden Homan assisted on both of Dordt's second half goals, the first coming from Cody Zonnefeld in the 49th minute, and the final one coming from Nathan Van Peursem in the 82nd minute.
Ripon (3-8) will try to rebound on Sunday when they'll travel to Bethany Lutheran College. That game will begin at 2 p.m. in Mankato, Minn.
