Box Score MOUNT VERNON, Iowa - Ripon's volleyball team lost in four sets against St. Norbert in Friday's first Midwest Conference semifinal match, bringing their 2017 season to an end. The Red Hawks won the first set 26-24, but lost the next three 19-25, 21-25, 17-25.
Ripon (10-17) was led by its two seniors
Jonalee Elliott and
Kat Kulas, who recorded 14 and seven kills, respectively. Kulas also posted six blocks and a .211 hitting percentage, while Elliott finished with a hitting percentage of .195.
Brooke Bauer added seven kills and a .208 hitting percentage.
Olivia Heck and
Emily Allard each totalled 17 assists, while
Stacie Klika led Ripon with 15 digs.
St. Norbert (13-15) had four players with double-digit kills, led by Brooke Siebert's 16 and a .238 hitting percentage. Lexie Van Hiel added 12 kills, while Haley Bartz and Halie Ferry each finished with 11. Emily Rohloff chipped in with 26 assists for the Green Knights, while Jasah Lee posted a team-high 19 digs.
