Box Score FOND DU LAC, Wis. - Ripon's volleyball team gave maximum effort Tuesday night, but it was not enough, as they lost to Marian University in five sets.
The Red Hawks dropped the first two sets 25-15, 25-19, before rallying to tie the match by winning sets three and four 26-24, 25-20, respectively. The fifth and final set was also hard-fought, but Marian walked away victorious by a 15-10 margin.
Jonalee Elliott was the only Ripon player with double-digit kills, leading the team with 15, to go along with a hitting percentage of .297.
Emily Allard and
Kat Kulas added nine kills apiece, with each player also recording a hitting percentage over .200.
Olivia Heck led the team in assists with 22, while Allard recorded 17. Allard was also second on the team in digs (11), which was one shy of
Stacie Klika's team-high of 12. Kulas led the team with six block assists, while Allard recorded four.
