RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's women's soccer team lost to St. Norbert Saturday afternoon by a score of 3-0. The Green Knights also held the advantage in shots, 24-10, while holding an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
St. Norbert (7-4-0, 3-0-0 MWC) got on the board in the 17th minute when Sadie Jung notched her first goal of the season, who put the ball in the net after a corner kick was deflected.
After SNC took a 1-0 lead into halftime, Jung doubled their lead with her second goal of the game in the 53rd minute. Ellie Lochner gave the Green Knights an insurance goal in the 84th minute, kicking the ball over the Goal Keeper's head for her fourth goal of the season.
Miye Aoki-Kramer played all 90 minutes at Goal Keeper for the Red Hawks (7-3-0, 1-2-0 MWC), making 17 saves. Her counterpart, Ally Magiera, also played the entire game, saving seven shots.
