RIPON, Wis. - The Ripon College men's soccer team proved they could play with one of the top teams in the Midwest Conference Sunday afternoon, Limiting Cornell College to one first half goal before losing to the Rams by a score of 3-0. Cornell also out-shot Ripon 20-5, including 10-1 in the second half.
The score was tied at zero until the 34th minute when Pietro Amado got Cornell (12-0-2, 5-0-1 MWC) on the board with his fourth goal of the season on an assist from Facundo Benavidez. The Rams doubled their lead in the 60th minute on Justin Howe's fourth goal of the season. They would add another goal in the 70th minute to cap the scoring.

Cole Jurish played the entire game for Ripon (3-9-1, 0-5-1 MWC), making nine saves. Cornell's Jerome Richards and Dylan Terrell combined for three saves in the game.
Ripon will be in action again on Saturday when they'll play Beloit College at Prairie Field in Ripon for what will serve as Senior Day, honoring
