RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's men's soccer team lost to 12th-ranked St. Norbert College Tuesday afternoon by a score of 4-0.
The first half was pretty evenly matched, with the only goal coming in the sixth minute when Griffin Hoerchner's second goal of the season gave St. Norbert (15-0-1, 8-0-0 MWC) the lead on an assist from Ben Prange.
Prange got into the scoring column in the opening minutes of the second half with his 18th goal of the season on an assist from Dominic DeMaria. Two minutes later, DeMaria found Seth Boldt for his fourth goal of the season to make the score 3-0. Drew Checolinski added an insurance goal for the Green Knights in the final minutes.

Cole Jurish played the entire game for Ripon (3-11-1, 0-7-1 MWC), making seven saves. Ben Holtzen also played the entire game for St. Norbert, saving two shots.
Ripon will bring their 2018 season to a close on Saturday when they'll travel to Monmouth College. That game will begin at 11 a.m. in Monmouth, Ill.
