APPLETON, Wis. - For the second consecutive game, Ripon's women's soccer team won by a score of 6-0, defeating Lawrence Wednesday night to remain in fourth place in the Midwest Conference standings. The Red Hawks dominated the game from start to finish, out-shooting the Vikings 32-2, including 14-0 in the second half.

A lot of Ripon's damage came in the first eight minutes. Paige Pierce opened the scoring less than three minutes into the game on an assist from Maggie Bouque. Two minutes later, Bouque found Pierce again for her 12th goal of the season and 10th in the last six games. With those two goals, A Junior from Green Bay, Wis., Pierce now has five multi-goal games in Ripon's last six contests, and moves into fourth place in program history with 34 career goals.

Maeve Kim added a goal in the eighth minute on an assist from Camrie Schmitz to put Ripon up 3-0. Kim then assisted on a Brianna Schnell goal in the 36th minute, giving the Red Hawks a 4-0 halftime lead.

Ripon (4-5-1, 3-1-0 MWC) continued to add to their lead in the second half when Schmitz and Abby Ryan each scored unassisted in the 54th and 60th minute, respectively.

Miye Aoki-Kramer and Stefani Zeiger each played a half at Goal Keeper for the Red Hawks, combining for two saves. Lawrence (0-11-0, 0-4-0 MWC) also split Goal Keeper duties with Claire Vinopal and Katyln Seiffert combining for 14 saves.
