RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's men's tennis team lost a close 6-3 decision to Buena Vista University on Wednesday night. The Red Hawks won two of the six singles matches, while winning one of the three doubles matches.
In singles competition,
Marcus Austin gave Ripon a team point at the number two flight with a 6-1, 5-1 victory.
Adrian Granados was also victorious at the number four flight, winning 6-3, 6-2.
Junmo Kwon narrowly lost his number one singles match, 6-4, 4-6, 4-10.
In doubles play, Kwon and Granados teamed up to win at the number two flight by a score of 9-8. Ripon lost the other two doubles matches by a combined score of 16-8.
The Red Hawks will be in action again on Friday when they'll host UW-Superior on Friday. That match will begin at 5 p.m. at the Oshkosh YMCA Tennis Center in Oshkosh, Wis.
