RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's men's tennis team lost two matches to Midwest Conference foes on Saturday. The Red Hawks lost 9-0 to Monmouth in the morning, before losing their afternoon match to Illinois College by an identical 9-0 margin.
In the day's first game, the closest match came at the number four singles flight where
Adrian Granados lost 6-2, 6-2. Granados also teamed up with
Junmo Kwon at number two doubles to lose 8-2.
The day's second match saw Granados again put up a fight, this time at number three singles, where he lost 6-1, 6-4. The Red Hawks lost all three doubles matches by a combined score of 24-8.
Ripon will be in action again on Sunday when they'll host Knox College. That match will begin at 2 p.m. at Willmore Center in Ripon.
