RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's women's soccer team played UW-River Falls evenly for much of Saturday's game, with the only difference being a UW-RF goal with 21 minutes remaining in the second half, sending the Falcons to a 1-0 win. The shots were nearly the same for both team, with UW-River Falls holding a 13-11 edge, including an 8-6 margin in the second half.
The game's only goal came with 20 minutes and 50 seconds left on the second half clock when Kari Rollo netted her third goal of the season on a cross from Jasmine Hunn, who was credited with the assist to give UW-River Falls (5-1-1) the first and only lead of the contest.
Both teams' Goal Keepers played all 90 minutes. Ripon's
Miye Aoki-Kramer made 12 saves, while UW-River Falls' Haley Crosby saved eight shots.
