RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's men's soccer team led from start to finish Wednesday afternoon, defeating Finlandia 2-0. The Red Hawks dominated most of the game, out-shooting Finlandia by a 27-6 margin, including 11-1 in the second half.
Ripon (1-10-1) wasted no time getting on the board, as
Braden Kobus' first goal of the season came just one minute and 12 seconds into the contest, with the assist credited to
Esteban Borja. The Red Hawks added an insurance goal in the 34th minute when freshman
Charles Schultz scored his first collegiate goal, unassisted, into the right corner of the net.

Kenny Smith played all 90 minutes, making one save. Finlandia's Noah Raisanen also played the entire game for the Lions (3-11-1), saving 12 shots.
