RIPON, Wis. - Ripon's men's soccer team lost to Edgewood College Tuesday evening by a score of 3-1. The Eagles also out-shot the Red Hawks by a 26-16 margin.
Edgewood (2-3-1) got the scoring started with a goal in the 38th minute by Brian Root, his second on the season. Ripon (0-6-0) tied things up early in the second half on
Christian Millan's team-leading second goal of the season. That lead lasted 11 minutes until Sean Surtees put Edgewood in front for good, scoring on a Penalty Kick. The Eagles added an insurance goal from Root later in the half to cap the scoring.

Kenny Smith made 10 saves in his 90 minutes of work. Edgewood's Brandyn Storhoff also played the entire game, saving four shots.
The Red Hawks will be in action again on Saturday when they'll travel to Maranatha Baptist. That game will begin at 1 p.m. in Watertown, Wis., and can be seen live atÂ
